The biggest blessing in the smallest package has just arrived.
Miss Elizabeth Jean entered the world on Sunday, September 2 at 10:10 a.m. in Wichita, Kansas, weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces, and she is 19 and a half inches long.
A big baby for being almost two weeks early! She has blue eyes and a full head of dark hair.
We're in love!
She has the sweetest face ever. She is a very happy baby, except when she is having a diaper changed :-) She continues to eat well, and has gained an ounce since her birth day.
We were blessed to be in the delivery room with her dear birth mom Tracy. What an amazing experience to witness the miracle of birth! Tracy was a champ- no epidural or any pain relief for labor and delivery!!
We are just in awe of the entire experience, and loving every minute of parenthood, yes, even the sleepless nights!
We're so humbled that Tracy has entrusted Elizabeth to us. It was so great to be able to spend time with her and her family before Elizabeth was born.
We were also able to meet Beau and his mom on the same day that Elizabeth was born.
To say that it has been an emotional two days is an understatement!
We're in love with our new daughter!!
