Hope you all had a great 4th!
Elizabeth couldn't stay up late enough to see the fireworks, so we'll have to wait for next year!
We did have a fun, laidback cook-out with Aunt Annie and Uncle Kyle. Elizabeth always has a blast with her uncle and auntie! When we arrived at their house on Saturday, Elizabeth grabbed Annie's hand and demanded, "Outside, outside!" (I think she was remembering her fun Easter egg hunt there a few months ago). This little girl does not like to sit still!
And isn't this the best smile ever? Her smiles totally light up her face!Sidenote story-- last night we were at Nana and Papa's for dinner. After dinner, Elizabeth ran to the sofa, hopped up and demanded, "Papa, sit here, NOW!" And she kept repeating that phrase until Papa did as instructed. When he sat in the wrong space (where she wanted to sit), she said "No, mine! Sit HERE!" Ahem! It's good to see those "independent" traits are fully in place! Ha!
