Happy 17 months, Elizabeth!
As of February 2nd, you are now 17 months, as we creep toward the big "18 months." Time really does fly by with precious little ones!
I can't believe my tiny little girl is now almost "a year and a half." Sometimes you seem so "big" since you are talking and walking and doing all kinds of things. And then other times, you are still our "itty bitty" girl.
Some new words recently added to your vocabulary:
"bean" (she loves any kind of cook bean, but the black bean is her absolute fave)
"love you" (pronounced "lo lu").
Some new ways of applying existing vocabulary:
"Baby!" When she sees something she really wants to hold (like mommy's cell phone or camera), she'll shout "Baby, Baby." As in, "Mine!" I can't believe it's taken me so long to figure out this correlation!
She continues to love music, dancing and reading, and sports! And, she's a little entertainment "ham." When she is demonstrating the use of her mini-basketball court, she'll glance over her shoulder, just to make sure she has an audience before making that "slam dunk."
