Yesterday was Elizabeth's one year, or should I say "12 month" check-up at our wonderful pediatrician's office.
Here are her growth stats!
Head: 47 cm diameter, which is 90th percentile. I guess this means she has a big noggin?! Is that why she is so smart? :-)
Length: 30.5 inches long, which is 75-90th percentile (not sure why there is such a huge range there!)
Weight: 22.58 lbs, which is 75th percentile. The weight has really come down on the percentile charts now that she is walking and running around the house!
We go to a smaller practice pediatrician, so Elizabeth is quite the star there. Both the pedi and nurse practitioner are also moms through adoption, so they just LOVE Elizabeth. Even the nurses love her, which is a great feeling as a parent. Who wouldn't want their child oohed and aahed over? Ha haa. Maybe they do this to every kid, but we enjoy it anyway.
Oh-- in other news---we are getting ready to go on a little beach getaway with Justin's family. Uncle Sean and Aimee are coming out from California, and Uncle Nathaniel is coming too. This will be the first time that Mimi has had all three 'boys' at the beach together in a long time. And of course, Elizabeth will be there too, enjoying the pool! One last beach getaway before fall is officially here!
