We have been away at the beach, "roughing it" at the Cinnamon Beach resort in Palm Coast, Florida. It is a beautiful facility, and we are sad to be 'home' again, although Elizabeth is glad to be back in her regular crib!
Nana and Papa treated us to a great week in the sun, along with Aunt Annie and Uncle Kyle.
Elizabeth really 'bonded' with her auntie and uncle this week since we were able to spend so much time together. She loves a game that Kyle plays.
She also started clapping her hands on her own when we start singing.
The only downside of the trip was that poor Elizabeth developed an ear infection while we were gone, so we had to go to our local Florida pediatrician! Poor little E! She is such a trooper, and thankfully recovered quickly with the help of antibiotics. I felt awful for her. (She then managed to pass a little 'something' along to Justin who developed a sinus infection. Fun times!)
We're back to our normal routine this week, although I still have a few bags left to unpack!
All in all we enjoyed our week of fun, sun, pool, and fresh seafood! Our next beach vacation is in September when Aunt Aimee and Uncle Sean come home for a visit.
