Elizabeth met her Uncle Sean and Aunt Aimee for the first time last week. They flew in for Thanksgiving! It had been almost two years since they were here in Georgia, and everyone was thrilled to see them. Justin and I last saw them in December of 2006 when we were passing through California on our way home from Hawaii. We have missed them a lot!
Here's a photo of Elizabeth reading the Bible with Daddy. Did you know she could read already? She's a genius!
And here are some shots of Elizabeth looking at Nana and Papa's Christmas tree. She was mesmerized by all of the tiny twinkly lights.
Wardrobe change :-)
This was her first sighting of the tree. She didn't want to look anywhere else and she studied it very intently.
In other Elizabeth news, this week she started putting both hands together, and you can almost hear her thinking, "Wow, this is a matched set!" She then started pulling her blankie up to her cheek and nuzzling her cheek with it. And then she started pulling at my necklace! (Jewelry alert!) Too cute!
And did I mention the smiling and laughing? Two days ago, she was laughing SO much! When she woke up for her early morning bottle, she was still grinning in her sleep.
We are so blessed!
We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and that you're on your way to a blessed Christmas season :-)
