Elizabeth had her 14 month birthday on Sunday! Whew!
She is definitely becoming more of a toddler than a 'baby' each day.
- She can run, run, run SO fast, especially when racing toward something she knows she shouldn't have, or something potentially dangerous! We have to sprint to catch up with her sometimes!
- Her hair is getting so long! We have to blow it dry each night after her shampoo.
- Sense of humor. She laughs and laughs, all day it seems. One of her favorite 'jokes,' is to offer me a Cheerio, and then she'll take it back suddenly, eat it, laughing at silly mom.
- Except when she is saying "N-O." She loves this new word! If we look over and she is doing something she knows she shouldn't (such as trying to get into the dog's water bowl), she will shake her head and say "Noooo!" She also tells US "no" quite a bit, just to sound out the word, I think.
-Nap boycotting continues. This little girl has always hated naps. I am so jealous of friends' whose babies who still take two 2-hr naps a day. We're lucky if she sleeps 2 hours altogether during the day. We may try dropping the morning nap and seeing if she'll take a longer afternoon nap.
- We continue some balmy fall days in Georgia and she loves playing outside, chasing her dog. Today she watched Justin throw a ball to Buddy, and then she did the same thing, laughing hysterically.
We're really looking forward to the holidays with her. It goes without saying that Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are worlds better with our little princess!
