It was wonderful to celebrate my first Mother's Day with Justin, Elizabeth and our parents. We went to Sunday School and church (as usual!), and Elizabeth came to "big church" with us and enjoyed listening to the sermon (along with a little nap). We then went out to Outback for a little lunch with Nana and Papa.
Elizabeth and Daddy made me the cutest present highlighting her handprints and footprints. Too sweet. And they got me a small locket to keep her photo in.
We spent the evening at Mimi and GP's with Uncle Nathaniel, and Elizabeth great-grandparents. She was the star of the show as usual.
This time she was showing off her two new skills....Crawling and Talking!!
This past Thursday she decided to start crawling and talking on the same day. Lots of 'buh buh, BUH!" comments mostly.
Here's a shot of her intense look of concentration right before the crawling started in full force. It kinda looks like she is doing a push up!
We are so proud! (as if we had anything to do with it!) :-)
Here's her eight month photo with Mr. Bunny, this time, wearing her new swimsuit.
We are so blessed to be Elizabeth's mom and dad. This time last year we had no idea that we were about a week or so away from talking to Tracy for the first time.
Wow, what a difference a year makes!!
I hope all of you had a good Mother's Day, celebrating all of the wonderful women in our lives.
Video of the crawling and talking soon to come!!
