Six month check-up!

Yesterday we had to take Elizabeth in to her pediatrician for her six month check up, and of course, those dreaded shots!!

Elizabeth now weighs 17 lbs, 14 oz (80th percentile)
Her head measures 44 cm in circumference and she is 26.5 inches long!

The doctor said Elizabeth looked "perfect," and that she was hitting all of her developmental milestones.

In other Elizabeth news, she has started teething again! Maybe we will see a little tooth soon.

And, some separation anxiety has started to pop up. When someone "new" is holding her, she keeps her eyes trained on Mommy or Daddy to make sure we won't walk away!

She loves going to the worship service at church with us (especially loves the music), but it may be time to go to the nursery for the evening service as well as the morning service. This past Sunday, she was wiggling and jumping around so much on Nana's lap. I think she wanted to jump down and play! (And then of course, we had a few spit-up incidents on the church pew, which I won't describe).

Other six month news....I hesitate to write this, and maybe "jinx it," but she has been sleeping GREAT at night for the past week- over 12 hours at a time! Hopefully the new round of teething won't throw us off of this wonderful schedule :-)

She continues to be our sweet girl, and we still keep pinching ourselves that we get to be parents!! Every day is a new adventure, and it is amazing to see how much she learns day by day.
